"This looks interesting. Has anyone tried it?"

ARB is a large Australian off-road equipment company. They have sold electric ice chests for years and are very popular with the expedition crowd.
It's a good product but it does consume a bit of 12-volt power and cost a small fortune.

Sure. I have been using the smallest one from Engle for 15 years but It doesn't fit in our RVs. I use it in the back of a Jeep. There just is no place for it in our RB. Also it is not silent, noticeable if it runs all night. We don't mind it in a motel room.

It doesn't have much of a place in an RV unless you have a larger than standard battery pack and solar. It is very good for what it is designed for-a car refrigerator to be plugged into AC power when not driving. It also has a place in a deisel pusher as a basement freezer.
