Nothing But A Lazy Daze Will Do OR My Lazy Daze Tunnel Vision

The light is there...
...I see it quite clear.

Like glimpsing my reflection in a silvery mirror.

In the past, I had dreams of some ol' SOB...
...but after much thought, that just couldn't be...
...not after waiting...so long ...for my special RV.

I dreamed of streamed lines ...
...My appetite whet...
I read all I found...and I'd seen all the rest...I just couldn't settle...I needed the best.
That's where my heart is...that's what I want. The search it is over...through is the hunt.
 I had glimpsed a true vision...like I'd seen in a dream...a Lazy Daze beckoned...like a siren to me.
I had seen its sheer beauty and fell fast in love. I liked what I saw and it fit like a glove.
The structure is solid the house is so sound. I looked at the inside and out all around.
From the roof to the chassis...from the front to the back. I peeked and I poked and I checked and I checked. To the Mothership even...twice I went back.
So I gave them my order and then went back home. I kept checking websites, and searched for more forums.
I've downloaded pictures and floor plans a plenty. I'm obsessed I confess...Oh how long is the waiting.
No matter the wait...the more I do dream...of mountain side brooks, rivers and streams.
So I wait every day for the call I'll receive that says come and get it-the RV of your dreams.
The day will come soon...of this I am certain...from my Lazy Daze dreaming...I will pull back the curtains.
The world it will beckon...with the road and its turns. It's a Lazy Daze venture of this I am sure...of this I am sure...of this I am sure.

Hi Jo,
We ordered our 27' charcoal/silver modern paint rear bath on Sept. 4th. Todd said the wait would be one year so that makes it around August or September.
That's fine with me. Actually I'd be good with October if it doesn't get built by August (I've heard of the recent delays so I half expect it). Besides, September & October keep me busy at work. That being said, I really do want the wait to end. Kind of like the idea of the LD sitting outside the door.

Caravans sound like fun, but I'm anxious to hit the open road.
When are you expecting yours and what model did you order? We choose the RB because it had the most open floor plan for us and the bath room is very roomy, but all the LD's are great.

Kent,

Lucky you !! I'd Love to have a brand spank'n new one. They are sooo awesome looking with the new fabric and all. And some of the colors. When I was "dream'n" actually yesterday, I thought, what color would I want.. maybe the Red, no maybe the Green, no maybe the Charcoal.. God, If only. To answer your question... I wish I could order a New one but it's out of my price range.. unless of course I win the lotto ( lol ) so Im searching for a 2002 up to a 2007 RB or RK. I love both of those models. ... I hear ya, about take'n to the road. I thought I'd find my LD by now.. I have came across a couple of good ones but be'n new at this I passed on them for one reason or another. One of them I told my friend to buy which worked out perfect as she sold her house in SD and is now in an RV park until she decides what she wants to do. Also, my plans to take to the road in April with the LD I though I'd have by now changed.. work came up that I can't pass on. I guess that say'n "things happen for a reason" is true. I wasn't supposed to have my LD just yet. I truly feel the next one I find will be the one *:) happy .. Kent, you picked a perfect LD model & very roomy IMO. I'm excited for you.. Maybe one day we'll met on one of our Happy Trails to " Gods Country" as I call it ( Rivers, Lakes, Trees, Birds sing'n.. and Peace all around.. Aweee the life !

Take good care Kent ...

Hi Jo,
Good luck with your hunt. Seems that there are as many fine people here that are looking for the chance to get a new or "previously owned" LD. I hope everyone finds the LD of their dreams.
I had seen a really nice 2006 27' model last September that had an entertainment center installed in the cab over bed (although I really wanted the bed for the sleeping area, I hoped it could be removed).  I was anxious to see it as it had less than 7,000 miles on it.
I called Todd about the unit and he informed me that the center was there to stay. That was the day I decided to order the new LD. Todd said that I seemed like a "no compromise" kinda guy. He was "kinda" right. Plus I just didn't want to take a chance with an older unit and getting stranded on the Grapevine with my wife and three small dogs. Just couldn't do that to them, especially her.
Now, I'll just have to maintain the new one. I'm really good at keeping things new if I got  it that way.
I'm sure you will find the RB of your dreams. Bright and shinny days are ahead for all of us LD lovers. See you on the road. We will both be there soon enough.

Kent..

I also have seen really nice 27 foot RB & RK for sale that had the entertainment center in the front instead of the cab over bed. I thought the same thing as you.. well, I can just remove it.. no way Jose *:( sad Also reading some of Andy's blogs about just taking a TV out ( not from an entertainment center) and building a cabinet was an ordeal with all the heavy duty staples LD uses. One thing for sure though, these LD are Build to last.. no fall'n apart on these babies *:) happy

Seems like you live in may part of the state.. Southern CA. when you mentioned The Grape Vine.. Anyway, I'm looking forward to posting pictures of my LD when I find her.. Can't wait to see yours also Kent..

Until then, take good care..
