Re: Spare Water Pump Reply #1 – February 14, 2015, 04:21:02 pm Yahoo Message Number: 151082If you are running a Revolution 4008 pump always carry a spare. I have seen them fail after 1.5 years. Others are 5 years old and still going strong. If you boon dock having a spare water pump and the tools to replace it is mandatory. Lots of spares to carry fuses, gaskets, candles, spare water, etc. But a must for the experienced RV'er that learned the hard way.Bob
Re: Spare Water Pump Reply #2 – February 14, 2015, 08:04:54 pm Yahoo Message Number: 151088I second the suggestion that you carry a spare water pump. I always have done that. If you still have one of the older Shurflo 5.7 gpm variable speed units you might want 2 spares. I swapped out my 5.7 unit 4 times in campgrounds. After the second swap I modified the pump connections and mounting to make the swap task easier.
