Possible New LD deliveries delay!

News from the mother ship is that due to their inability get delivery of F-450 chassis recently, they are predicting about a 2 week delay on the start and delivery of new units. Not what this Wannabee wanted to hear! We were hoping for a late May delivery so we could be in Alaska by mid June. Hoping for the best.

Maybe one day, Lazy Daze will use the F450 (and/or F550) as a platform, but for now, LD builds on the Ford E450 cutaway motorhome chassis. Still a wait, though! ;-)

Sounds like we are in the same boat (RV)! Jean spoke with Todd this about the batch of 5 in which is our 27 MB. Four are  just now at LD and the 5th, ours, is at the Ford dealer being checked out before delivery to LD. In an earlier conversation with Todd he said it took 3-4 months to build after the chassis are received.

Todd also said this morning that things are absolutely hectic at the factory. Seems like a lot of buyers have discovered what we have known for some time, that is, You can't beat a Lazy Daze!!

I placed my deposit on my 27' rear bath on September 4, 2014. Todd said I will receive my unit in mid September 2015.
 Longer wait than I expected, but it works for me. Dropped by the factory in December. Just had to hang around the coach with my sister. Todd unlocked the unit and I just enjoyed being in and near the beauty. Can't wait to be behind the wheel for real.
