Introducing Fort Courage!
Yahoo Message Number: 150329
Hello from Fort Courage, our new to us 1984 Lazy Daze RB 22'. After searching quite awhile, we have just brought the Fort home. I've been lurking and learning from all of you, Thank you! You helped keep our dream alive and now we are excited about being a Lazy Daze owner.

We started married life as backpacker tenters, moved on to truck campers, then travel trailers, then Class A motorhome and retirement. Life changed and we fostered then adopted two nieces who are now our daughters aged 13 and 15. Decided to switch to camping mode and started looking for a Lazy Daze. Just have always liked the look, style and quality.

We have been very lucky to find a used unit that our mechanic checked out with flying colors prior to our purchase. After getting home we even found an original manual and the outside windshield cover! And totally forgot how great wing windows are! lol

Other than some small cosmetic changes inside, a couple of small paint repairs on outside everything is working and we hope to have shakedown next weekend.

Our local RV Specialist has suggested we coat the roof with Elestromerric (not sure on spelling) from home depot.  Anyone else use this?

Now, on to the big issue. Have any of you with older units figured out how to get more leg room in the driver area?  My husband is 6'2" and his size 13's are a tight fit even with the seat all the way back.

All suggestions, input or critique gladly accepted. Thanks!

Jo (Co Commander of Fort Courage)
