Fogged Window Repair

One of the sliding rear windows in our 06 30' IB is fogged.

We are currently near Phoenix and I have contacted Auto Glass Boss of Mesa to come out and repair.

I assume that they have to take the entire window out? If so, does it also mean they have to remove the valance? In the bedroom you don't have the side valance pieces just the top. I intended to remove the valance myself once and removed all the screws I could find and still could not get it to budge.

Also, it is my understanding that they used butyl tape when the windows were installed originally. Would that have to be replaced?

I am trying to anticipate the problems that might be encountered in trying to get this repaired. If it's too much I might just decide to live with it.

Jim, Did you contact the factory to see if this is an approved vendor for LD? I would worry about an insufficient repair if they are not familiar with the LD's construction. Water leakage from improperly sealed windows can do a lot of hidden damage.
