Changing water pump

Hi folks, Two quick questions (with grandkids here, I won't have much time anyway!) The Shurflo 5.7 finally sprung a leak (of course, when we were using the MH as a spare bedroom, house full of family, you get the idea). Great timing.....

1) It appears the 5.7 is screwed in from under the floor; ie, I don't see any screw heads from inside the motorhome. Is that correct? Being parked on wet grass, I'm not inclined to verify that right now.

2) Will the 4008 go back into the same holes? If not, what's the best water proofing for the old holes?
 Thanks, and Merry Christmas! Ken

The water pumps in all LDs are screwed to the floor, from the inside, with hex-head sheet metal screws. It can be hard to get to the screw heads due to the rubber isolator pads.

Changing to a 4008 will require remounting the pump. You or may not be able to reuse the existing flexible hoses. No need to seal any holes.
Good riddance to the 5.7.
