The fan that used 2 D bat I used in my first camper 45 years ago. When I placed a peace of toilet paper on top of it it had all it could do to displace it; that is if it did.
 The next fan I built and mounted it over the light. I thought it was the greatest. In fact Motor Home Magazine had a write up on it and my pictures of it.
 Then I tried this 2 unit fan that mounted over the frig fins. It worked so good that I had to lower the setting on the frig.
 Chris said that the seller on e Bay has sold 279. The group I run with had 4 of them at our July 4 outing. It may be 6 by now.
 When the furnace comes on it sound like a jet plane coming in for a landing to me. Even the little electric heater will keep me awake if I let it. And how is it that our wives complain about there husbands falling  asleep in front of the TV blasting away.

I just installed this fan and don't have results yet as my LD is in storage.  Checking the noise level with the refer door closed, I feel there will be no  problem, especially during the day. It was easy to install in my 02' 30' since  there is a hot wire (red wire) to the interior light that I tapped into with the  piggy-back space connector. I notice the seller on ebay has sold 279 of these  puppies. I'm guessing publicity on this forum helped.

I just had one installed in my 2007 MB but I am not traveling at the  moment and haven't had a chance to see how well it works yet. I didn't  think the noise was problematic when I tested the fan with the  refrigerator door closed. It seems if I have a problem with the  refrigerator staying cold enough it is during the day so if the noise  bothers me when I am trying to sleep at night I will just turn it off.

 I have had the fan in use for one season now. The frig for 2 years on my 24 LD MH has always had a temp swing in the temp. It was there on a 14 week trip to Alaska in 2012.  Since the use of this fan the temp swing for the most part is gone. And as I have said in the past I lowered the temp one setting from the max and the frig is still 10+ degrees colder than it was before the fan. And I always had a fan mounted over the light and wired in the same way. The frig would always take a day to reach its low setting. With the new fan the temp have been down in less than 4 hours. If this is because of the fan I have no proof.
 I did have one problem with the fan. The last trip out the fan stoped running. There is a non replace able fuse at the end of the positive wire. I can not find a reason for the fuse to have blown. The fuse has been replaced with an inline fuse holder and 1 amp fuse. I tested the new unit on the bench and can not get the new fuse to blow. Testing was done by letting the fan run for 4 days non stop.  I also turned the fan on and off fast and slow over 24 times and can not get the fuse to blow. The problem? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?? I see no reason to place blame on the fan.
