Bathroom fan once more

I wanted to add a response to the exchanges I've had with some of you about installing a bathroom fan replacement in my 1995, 22-foot LD. But for some reason I can't figure out how to make a response that way. Therefore the new post.
 Just to thank you all for your suggestions and advice. Based on all that, I've ordered a Fan-tastic Fan and I'll be replacing the entire original fan installed by the factory. As Andy noted, it was a job I was trying to avoid but my lazy way out didn't work. So... I'll be learning something new.
