Black component behind drivers seat?
Yahoo Message Number: 147313
I am unable to find any info in my owners manual about a black component mounted on the bathroom wall directly behind the drivers seat on my 1993 22' Lazy Daze RV.  It has an embossed "computer" on the front, no manufacture or other identifying clues.  It has wiring with a circuit board inside a black box attached, but it is not plugged into anything.  Thanks.

That's your engine computer. In the early days, before Detroit learned to ruggedize these devices, they were mounted outside the engine compartment, because they would not operate reliably in the hot, electrically "noisy" environment under the hood.
