OT - How to Desolve Glue

I have a problem that I just know all you adhesive and bonding experts can solve.

I have an antique calculator that I wanted to take pictures of to post on an antique calculator website.  I bought it in about 1970.  I made a Dymo label with my name on it, and placed it over the name of the calculator shortly after I bought it.  When I tried to peel it off today, it took part of the original name label off with it.

Now I have a piece of Dymo label with the part I need stuck to the back of it.  Do any of you have any ideas about how to separate the two without ruining the original label?  I was thinking about soaking it in De-Solv-It, but I am afraid it would dissolve the part I need.

I picked up a bottle today at ACE hardware.  I did notice after I got home that De-Solv-It is also citrus based, so maybe they are very similar.

Anyway, thanks for the suggestion.
