Need to change my house Batteries. I have T-105 Trojans, I was think going to T-145.  The T-145 are little taller but would would fit in the battery tray. T-145 Dimensions in inches: Lx10.30xW-7.11x H11.90. Weight of the battery 72 lbs.

T-145s will just fit. Many times it easier to removed the sliding battery tray for better access to the battery cables. With a remote battery watering system, its not necessary to pull the batteries out when watering.
If you do remove the tray, make sure to secure the batteries in position.

If you are not sure, you might consider the T-125.  Somewhat higher capacity than the T105, but exactly the same size.  Personally, I would not consider removing the tray, you really need to pull out the tray to get the cabling intact, and you will really miss being able to pull out the tray to keep the box clean and brush out the corrosion that inevitably accumulates.

I just replaced the original T-105s in my '06, but instead of either Trojan, I used a pair of Lifeline GPL-4CT AGM batteries. Basically a drop in replacement for the T-105, except no more watering ever. I was surprised how easily they dropped in, all the cabling lined up perfectly, even the jumper between the batteries was exactly the right length (I junked the battery disconnect switch in the process). I also upgraded to a 3-stage power converter at the same time.

The improvement in 12V stability is really amazing. Hopefully they will last a while, time will tell.

Yes the T-145's will work just fine. I have had them in my stock battery box for 2+ years and still going strong. IMO it is wiser to invest in plenty of Solar Power than more batteries, unless your power needs are extreme. Would not get rid of the battery disconnect switch, it comes in real handy sometimes. I have 4 Solar panels with 475 watts total and my batteries are charged to 100% usually before noon. I run a laptop, inverter, Ipad, etc. off them all day long.
No problems.

It depends not only upon the amount of power you need, but when you need it... and how much sun is available.

For example, if you're a night owl and tend to stay up late watching TV or using a computer, more batteries are probably a higher priority than more solar panels. Solar panels can't make power at night when you need it; you're dependent upon batteries after dark.

On the other hand, if you often travel in coastal Oregon or a similarly cloudy/rainy region, you may need to add more than two solar panels just to keep the stock pair of batteries charged.

In short it's useful to assess your needs and your traveling style before prioritizing panels vs. batteries. The rule of thumb is one amp-hour of battery storage per watt of solar power, but your needs may dictate skewing the equation one way or the other.
