The latch on my new-to-me 2008 MB seems to be broken - it doesn't catch when pushed onto that knob thingy on the wardrobe. The latch mechanism is riveted to the door so I can't take it apart to see if something can be done with it. Has anybody else had this problem? If so, how did you fix it? Or did you just rig up some other way to keep the door shut? I've thought of Velcro but don't like the idea of how it would look on the wardrobe.... Any other suggestions? The final option is just to take the thing down and put up a tension rod with a fabric curtain.Mary Lou Knack 2008 27' blue MB (Planet Lulu according to my partner, but he's yet to be converted)

It should now engage the piece on the wardrobe just fine. Good luck from Reno, Jack
