Stainless steel sink replacement
Yahoo Message Number: 145357
For years I have heard requests for a stainless steel sink to replace the acrylic sinks in later models LDs.
Well, it can be done by a very determined individual.
My friend Bob found this sink on Amazon and had me install. It require major cutting of the counter top, converting the fixed PEX hardline to  hoses and modifying the drains.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00079PVBW/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The sink did not come with a template for cutting the opening in the counter-top, requiring many trial cuts until the sink sat correctly. The screws in the mounting kit were the wrong thread size.
It took over a day to do and one was enough for me.
Enjoy the pics.
