81 front lounge grey h2o splashing up shower drain March 08, 2014, 06:33:58 pm Yahoo Message Number: 145262Hi fellow Lazy Dazers, Thought you all may be of help. When the grey water level gets above 1/2 full when driving it splashes up through the shower drain. Any ideas on how this happens and how to fix it. Thanx, Hugh McCulloch 81 Front Lounge.

Is the P trap still in place for the shower? Is the vent pipe up top clogged? Does the tank drain quickly? If the tank vent was clogged, it would drain real slow at first. If you know the size of the tank, you could fill it with 5 gallon buckets at count how many go in and check the tank level on the read out as you go. Perhaps the tank is really full and backing up as you drive around.Ramon

With both our '83 and '04 FL models we travel with it secured shut. With our '83, we sometimes even had it splash up through the bathroom sink, due to an air bubble shoving it up when sloshing around, so we kept that one secured as well.Steve
