It's with great sadness that I report the passing of Susan Fain this morning. Her several year struggle with emphysema is at an end. We've known Susan for a number of years and will miss her.

I'm very sorry to hear that, Ted. She was a great person to know, and an enthusiastic Lazy Dazer.

Susan was a hoot.  Connie and I were managing a park in NC three or four years ago when she came for an extended stay. Our LDs were identically colored and we had both gone to college in S.Ga. and had become lawyers.  She had already been told to go to hospice and had said to hell with that.  She continued to chain smoke and remain independent, I'm sure, as long as possible.
