I have an 06 MB, last week I was stuck in Iowa with family issues. We experienced ice and FREEZING temps, down to 11°F. We had nothing freeze, but I was really concerned about the lines running to/from the water heater under the floor. Does anyone here know how these are insulated (they must be ) ? Is there access to these from under the rig ?

Dave,

The pipes are not insulated.  They are routed in between two layers of plywood. Other than sheet metal, I'm not sure what's below the lowest layer of plywood.

Thanks Alex, I'm really shocked that they didn't freeze then.
