Its time for normal oil change etc on our 2010 MB with about 20k and would appreciate a good recommendation. I have taken it to the Ford dealer in Cathedral City but always looking for a better option.

Thanks Dean Ansley

I have been using Sunair on Perez south of Hwy 111 for 8 years. 760-328-1914 they have lifts for big rigs, do routine oil changes, etc

Betty Jean & Circus Wagon parked in Larry's drive while he installs a new TV just finished resealing the roof.

Hi Friends,

Does anybody know of a "reputable" Ford Mechanic or Service in the Los Angeles Ca. area. I would like to get my 2003 E-450 LD serviced before my upcoming travels; but I don't want to get ripped off either. Thanks in advance.

I've been using Buerge Ford in West Los Angeles for my '06 TK since new. When I started, they had an RV enthusiast service writer. He's since moved on, but they still handle my service at reasonable prices and no "upsell."  I suspect I'm the only RV they handle as their service area is tight quarters, but if you live in this area I'd give them a try. If you're not close by, you'd probably be better off seeking elsewhere. Caution:  even my RV-centric service writer was unaware of the location of the driveline-based parking brake on the E450. -- Jon
(Former) ‘06 TK “Albatross.” And (former) Vespa 250.   Alas, no more; both are gone.😕 Great memories remain! 😄

"Caution:  even my RV-centric service writer was unaware of the location of the driveline-based parking brake on the E450" ----- This is the same as my experience. A search of the message board will bring up many posts on the 'parking brake servicing' topic, and perhaps Larry will re-post the links to his photos of the location of the fill plug.  I had to crawl under my rig (2003) and show the mechanic where it was; he acknowledged that he wasn't even aware of the unique parking brake assembly on the E450.
