plastic curtain carriers in 2003 MB

Hi all,  The plastic carriers that run in the curtain track in the front cab of my 2003 MB are starting to break.  I am wondering if anyone has a source for those little plastic pieces that the curtain hooks can hang onto?  I tried to figure out how to search past messages, but was unable to do so.  Thanks for any help you can provide.    Doug

Doug

All the plastic curtain glidders in our 2003 LD have broken at least once. I bought a bag of 40,  a couple years ago, from the Mothership, and received glidders that looked to be years old and have not lasted long. I have not been able to find new stock and will probably switch to a differrent track system in the future if new glidders cannot be found.

Let us know if you are successful find new glidders.

Larry,
I found plastic sliders that work for our 2001 in Camping World.  That  is cheaper than getting them from the factory.

I may have my old ones I took out so will search today and see if I can find them. I remember putting them in a plastic bag. I'll let you know. Take care, john leach, Co.

I think you might be able to get these from Penney"s catalog or a place that sell drapery supplies and my guess is that would be cheaper than a rv supplier.  If any on is desperate  I might have a bunch.  (I rarely throw anything away.)

One line about the curtain carriers and then a paragraph of advertising about your business. How nice!!!!

It is really easy in the Neo format.  Assuming you are looking at the Conversations view, at the top of the page, there is a box with "Search Conversations" in it.  Type your inquiry right in that box. IMO, searching conversations has been made much easier in the new format.

The "Search Conversations" bar appears at the top of the page in both "Conversation" and "Messages" views.

"One line about the curtain carriers and then a paragraph of advertising about your business."

While advertising posts are not permitted here, we've generally tolerated a line or two in the signature, giving your blog's or business's URL. But I agree that this post went way beyond that.

Folks, just to restate the obvious: this is a group for discussion of RVing, not for advertising your business. If I have to make a hard and fast rule that signatures may not be more than three lines, I will, but I'd like to think we can all use common sense.

Let's try to keep it to a couple of lines, OK? Members would like to know your real name (especially with cryptic member names such as "mp81olequa"), and your blog's address if you have one. But more than that is generally unnecessary, and in the case of advertising, unwelcome.

Thank you Larry for flushing out the old plastic carriers from LD's  supplies. I bought about 50 a few years ago and they looked pretty new. I never  liked the metal hooks, especially near my head when the curtain was gathered. I  sewed each new carrier on to the curtain in place. When the sunlight gets to  this batch, I wonder if they will still be available anywhere. RonB and  'Bluebelle' a '99 TKB.
