Selling LD and navigating txt files October 09, 2013, 12:02:56 pm Yahoo Message Number: 143069Back in 2003 and 2004 I was a regular poster to this forum. Nice to see some familiar names around here! Anyway, we bought a new 2004 twin/king 23.5 foot LD. Now, nine or so years later we are looking at selling it as we plan to "upsize." I remember from this forum that there was a way to estimate an asking price as the book value was not necessarily accurate. I did find such a txt file for 2013, clicked to open the file but the data is incomprehensible to me. The formatting doesn't work and I cannot figure it out at all.Could I be doing something wrong? How do I decipher the asking price estimator.Martha

At that point the columns of numbers should line up and make sense. For a 2004 24-footer, the average asking (not selling) price looks to be around $35K.Andy Baird http://www.andybaird.com/travels

Re: Selling LD and navigating txt files Reply #3 – October 11, 2013, 09:40:56 am Yahoo Message Number: 143084Andy, Would it help if I added a CSV (Comma Delimited) file of the 2013 estimated asking prices to the files on the website? This would make it easier to enter into Excel.BarryFrom: Sent: Wednesday, October 09, 2013 1:47 PM..... . At that point the columns of numbers should line up and make sense. I don't even recall the mileage and we aren't home right now. It does have four brand new tires on the rear and year old tires on the front. It has the gray tone exterior colors and the inside is beige tones. The mirror on the bathroom door is cracked and I am going to try to get it replaced if I can get around to it.
