Modifications to '09 MB August 24, 2013, 04:58:32 pm Yahoo Message Number: 142189Hi all, I just uploaded two modifications to our '09 MB, Lucy. The first was to remove the couch on the driver's side and replace it with 2 chairs on swivel rockers. We found the couch to be not as comfortable as we would like, and we both wanted a real chair to sit in from time to time. This solution gives each of us a "chair", preserves the storage that was under the couch, and is completely reversible (ie, the couch can be reinstalled in an hour or so). I also made a foot rest that you can see, but that's just because the particular chairs we used sit a little too high for us. The prototype chair did not require the foot rest (less padding in the seat.... no comment . The second is just our message board. It's a magnetic dry erase board that just happened to be a perfect (or nearly so) fit over the pantry.
