Organizing or packing a 27RB?

What are your favorite places to put certain things?  What is best under the fridge, over the dinette, over the sofas, over and under the sink, under the dinette, in the closet, in the shower?
I am going in circles trying to decide where to put things after downsizing via a Norcold fire from a 40-foot, three-slide diesel pusher with lots of underneath storage and no weight worries. Instead of five trash cans, I now have one small can, for example.
Have had class C RVs before, but been a while and we two and two small dogs are older now and not full timing.
Also cannot reach very far into the cabinets, so got a stool to assist standing on dinette seats and sofas and plan to get a grasper to reach further. For safety, we could use better ideas for this as well.

Grateful for any suggestions please... s/Terry A.

When looking at RV's recently one of them the people had cut apart one of those stacking storage thingys (can get at Lowe's, Home Depot etc. I would cut off just above each of the railings for basket and put that in the storage area this was under the dinette and thought good idea and not as expensive as building ones to slide, can also get or make a insert so things don't fall thru. I got mine at IKEA and was about $40, but have had for probably 15 years and I will use for extra drawers in a closet area.

Terry, this is something that each of us works out over a period of time, and there's no one-size-fits-all solution. Even when upsizing from a 22' to a 26.5' rig, I remember there was chaos for a month or two... and six years later, I still occasionally rearrange things when a more efficient storage idea occurs to me.
Still, there are some general hints and tips that may be helpful. As Roger pointed out, Eureka! Live has a lot of suggestions, so it's worth a look:

Terry,
The link below will take you to one4 of my Flickr pages where I address the storage capabilities of the the 2007 Lazy Daze RB. Clicking on one of the "sets" will take you to the individual photos and underlying details about each bin, compartment, and useable storage area

There is one "rule of thumb" - heavy stuff low, light stuff high.  Beyond that, do a trial storage job then get all four corners weighed.  If one side is significantly lighter than the other, try to shift some of the heavy cargo to balance side to side.  Beyond that, as Andy and others said, we each have our own ways, and they sometimes change.  Example - after 4 years of fulltiming, I moved my toolbox from the rig to my Toad.  It occurred to me that with it in the Toad, it would always be with me, but in the rig, if I was out and about someplace and needed a tool, I would not have it.

Good advice. Sounds like you may be near one of my favorite summer hangouts, June Lake Loop or maybe Lee Vining?...

The reverse for me.  Lots of time we travel without the toad.  Keep a fairly small set of tools plus a 50 cal ammo can with flares and other tools always
