Update on my freezer March 29, 2013, 10:12:06 pm Yahoo Message Number: 137844My freezer has been a problem from day one. Not until last October could I even make ice. At that time, hand full of metal shavings were pulled out of my gasket. But my need to defrost this freezer frequently has been a nuisance when it warm to hot temperatures. Thru the help of folks here on the list, as well as off the list, I had pretty much come to the conclusion I had a lemon. I had tried everything folks suggested - learned alot, but still had issue. Camping World was ruled out to check this system out, and it was suggested that I have D & R Family RV in Glendale, AZ to check it out, he spotted the problem immediately. My freezer door apparently was not adjusted appropriately in the first place. The fridge had been, but not the freezer. So I learned that the gasket on my freezer is a magnet and when adjustment is not correct, one can not get a tight seal. Therefore one leaky sucker. And for the first time, the door latches shut just like the fridge. Yippee!!!Just wanted to share my good news.Melinda - who is heading for Alaska shortly 2011 27'MB, named Tiglax (Aleut for Eagle)
