More TPMS

Looking at various brands and types, I found air-through sensors that allow checking and adding air, without removing the sensor.
Some monitors have user replaceable batteries and others don't.
Some monitors show all wheels, others show one wheel at a time.
Too many choices and not enough information.
It tough deciding which brand to use, we have too small a sampling group, on this forum,  and there isn't any decent testing or reviewing by a independent group or magazine.
Too bad the RV market is too small for Consumer Reports to get involved.
The cost range is amazing. I would like to believe the more expensive models would be more dependable but who knows? One 10-wheel kit cost $440 and the next almost $700.

What we do need is actual "saved my butt" stories. There are a lot of "lost my butt stories."
I do find that if you have one of the systems you watch your pressure better because it is so easy.
I have one trailer tire that loses air slowly. The first time the alarm went off it was a surprise, now I know to expect to add air till I replace that tire or find the leak.

I did drive an RV from Arizona to Ohio

There are many choices now, but if you want a reliable system, you can find a lot of people successfully using the Pressure Pro system. I've had mine for over 5 years; it had been around for several years when I bought mine.
If you want a more advanced system from a long-time dealer: Doran (the company) has been around from before I bought mine, selling the Pressure Pro then, and now the similar 360 system, but with improvements, such as easier to mount monitor, sensors with serial numbers for easier installation, temperature reporting, and a few other features. Now, I'd choose the Doran system over the Pressure Pro because of the improved features, but it's not worth switching just for those.
If you want lower cost, you can try amazon or ebay, sift through the user reviews on those sites, and comb through the RV sites for user reports. There may be better systems, or better values, and I hope someone does the research, then let's us know the results.

"If you want a more advanced system from a long-time dealer: Doran (the company) has been around from before I bought mine, selling the Pressure Pro then, and now the similar 360 system"

So Doran manufactures both the 360 and Pressure Pro TPMSs.
Wonder why the Pressure Pro brand sells for more when the monitor is an old, obsolete design, compared to the Doran.
Also curious if they both use the same wheel sensors. Anyone know? Looking at photos of the Doran and Pressure Pro sensors, they look different but that could just be a different plastic cover.
Going over the sales literature and enclose specification, the two sensors have different specifications and ranges.
I'm not sure the if the two brands have much in common other than a common distributor. The reputation of the company, that has been around for a few years, is the best selling point.

I think you will find that Doran sold the Pressure Pro system and no longer has any dealings with it. Pricing is decided by the new owner.
They replaced it with the 360RV and there is nothing compatible between the two. I have both on two RVs, a Roadtrek and LD.  The 360RV is the better system.
Any statement above is my understanding/opinion and does not make it fact. Maybe Doran still makes the parts for the Pressure Pro. They do not sell it.
