I hope I have this name right as there a bunck of Google apps.  If you have an I Phone 4, you can download the Google Search app, (blue logo) and you have most of the Siri voice search and interaction.  It works really well and will find stores, gas, etc by voice and will talk back just like Siri.  I don't know if it will work with other phones and operating systems. It's free.

Thank you Roger, for this very helpful tip.  I have the iPhone 4, and installed the app right away ...works great.  I just got an iPad Mini, and you're right, the Google Search app is very similar to Siri.
 I tried the Google Search app on my Android (My Touch, T-Mobile) phone too.  Although it does have a microphone and you can talk to it and ask it questions, the iPhone one is much better.
