That's a good site to bookmark.
Looking at the 2013 towable chart, it's disappointing to see how few automatics can be towed, other than the usual Hondas and Jeeps. The exception this year is Ford's line up, they have several small to mid-size cars that can be towed with automatics.
Wish Subaru would make their automatics towable.

The Guide is good info from me, since I am new to towing and this will be my first Toad.  I have been looking at only manual transmission cars, since I assume all can be towed all 4 wheels down.  Looking at  New and used.  Still looking.

You don't need to get a manual transmission to tow. I have a 97 Jeep Cherokee 4X4 with automatic trans. Just put transfer case
