Suspension update

Took my '95 23.5TK to Alignment Plus here in San Marcos, CA. After making sure the front end was tight they recommended an alignment, new steering stabilizer (I got a Rancho 5401), and four new KONI shock absorbers (set to medium).
We went on our first trip with the new setup to Borrego Springs. I cannot say enough good things about this improvement. WOW! So much easier to handle. Stable and it doesn't drift around or "baby carriage" at all like it use to. It's's not like a car by any means but it does feel like a brand new coach. Much, much better.

I highly recommend these shocks.

I find most steering stabilizers to be shot when the get 50,000 or more miles on them. They are cheap to replace.
Many have switched to the Koni shocks in an attempt to smooth out the rough ride, especially when running Bilstein shocks.

Bilsteins shocks are also available in a "Comfort" model that rides much smoother than the standard Bilsteins and is similar to the Koni.
Koni RV shocks are adjustable, letting you pick the degree of firmness desired.
I'm planning on trying them if the future when our LD shocks need replacement.

For whatever reason our steering stabilizer was shot much sooner. The rig only has 33K on it. We are the third owners. Again, I can't say enough good things about the KONI shocks. They are expensive...but worth it.

There are no official tour times since few non-owners show up at Caravans, Maybe a forum member will volunteer to show you around. I would, if we were going this month. Friday or Saturday would be best.
