Could I Just Ask.....RV sales

I'm sure that most of us have heard quite a few "RV salesperson >answers" that would be better offered as a stand-up comedy routine.
Here are two, both first-hand person-person conversations I've had at a local RV super-store. (I stop by every now & then to see if they have certain parts in stock before going to the 'Net. They route you through sales in order to get back to parts/service.)

#1 Me: Do you have scales to weigh an RV? Glengarry Glen Ross Dude: Why would we need that, we already know what the RVs weigh.
Me: Um, to check the available CCC after add-ons are included? GGRD: Get outta here. (Not really - he just wanted me on my way to parts before any potential customers got wise. LOL)

#2 Me: Do you have dually metal valves? Service/parts guy: No, we only have those valve (rubber) extenders displayed on the wall.
Me: Hmm, I've heard that these can sometimes leak.
SPG: We're not a tire shop. (It should be noted they have service bays that can handle 40' class A movie-star buses.)
As for RV shows, if you live near any major attraction, you'll see a wide range of RVs. If you stroll through the park, you'll get a good sense of who has what when where & why.
I've mentioned before we live by Sunset Vista - in the back row are the half-million dollar rigs. In the front row are trailers & class B & C RVs. Since everyone is out enjoying themselves, it's pretty easy to stroll along and take a good look. If they're feeling gregarious - easy to do after sparking some beers @ noon - they'll tell you all about their rigs.

As J says, YMMV.
