Raising fresh water tank
Yahoo Message Number: 135554
While replacing the leaking water pump strainer in my 2002 27' mid bath, I apparently used to much elbow grease, and popped out the threaded elbow which attaches to the tank.  I am not able to rethread the elbow to the tank due to the height of the outlet from the floor.  The tank seems to be firmly attached to the floor.  If anyone has a solution to temporarily raising the tank an inch or so, I would love to hear it.      Thanks,  Martha

My solution is to replace the elbow with a straight threaded insert, which Camping World in Bellmont, AZ supplied free. and increase the length of the flexible hose line.
I only worry that the threads on the tank may be compromised. Tomorrow will tell all.
