Looking in my RV Rating book which covers 1990-1999 models, the RV Consumer's Group rates all the Lazy Daze RV's as SB 20-90. To quote:

"SB stands for snowbirding. RV's for snowbirds are designed for live-in situations up to 6 months a year in temperatures from 30-90 degrees Fahrenheit [The Lazy Daze is rated down to 20 degrees]. Snowbird use is primarily determined, however, by the design of the interior. If our analysis shows that a motor home has an interior designed with standard equipment to sustain live-in use for 6 months a year without substantial deterioration, it will receive a snowbirding classification."

Apparantly, the RVCG will upgrade its classification to FT (fulltiming) with certain optional equipment. You would have to call them and ask what that equipment might be. I personally think if you can live in a RV six months, you can live in it a year with no problems. If you're considering the fulltime lifestyle, I would be leery choosing the 30' model due to the simple fact of the lower net payload on this model. An example: On a 1999 30' model, the net payload is only 1503 lbs.
That's not much to put all your wordly possesions in. If you buy the 1999 26.5' the net payload is about a 1,000 lbs more, depending on model chosen. The trade off is the smaller size. I personally think I could do it with just me, but you're circumstances may be different. If you have a lot of "stuff" that you can't live without, you might consider a diesel pusher, which will give you a lot more net payload. Hope this helps, Greg
