Hi there, Probably stupid question however, here goes. We have a 1995 LD RB and I cannot find an LP detector. Can anyone tell me where it is usually located? Thanks in advance Maureen

It is usually mounted on the side of a cabinet, within a foot of the floor. Propane is heavier than air and sinks to the floor.
I do not know what year propane detectors became standard equipment, your 1995 LD may not have one.
The good news is that one can be added, if desired.

Maureen, We have a '99 RB & the LP leak detector is located just above the floor between the sink & the oven.  Our unit failed & I replaced it with a combination CO2 & LP detector.  If it isn't there check your LD manual or give the mothership a call.
