OK, everyone.  I've got it fixed.  All it took was a phone call.  I called Mike and Lisa Sylvester, and they said, "We'll be right over."
Thirty minutes later, after running a few tests that showed my circuit board wasn't putting out a signal, Mike uncorked a new one and plugged it in.  "Whoosh!"  It lit up immediately.  Works fine now.
Thanks Mike and Lisa.  I understand there are others on this forum who appreciate their skills, so add me to that list.  What I like about Mike and Lisa is that they did not simply start replacing parts until they found the one that worked.  Mike knew pretty well before he pulled out a new circuit board that that was what the problem was, because he did some diagnostic analysis before he turned to any new parts.
Thanks also to all of those here who offered advice.  Turns out the best suggestion was to call "The RV Guy."

Great choice Larry! I'll sing the praises of Mike Sylvester till the cows come home and also to his great little gopher, Lisa.
Mike has done major work on my Lazy Daze, mostly at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta.

Hi Larry, Glad you were able to get your WH up and going.  Thanks for the update on the solution.  I too was able to get mine back to working properly.  On the advice of others

Upon looking at the unit I noticed that the pressure relief valve is directly above the electrical connections and when it ocasionally drips it falls right on the connections.  Am going to see if I can rig a short drainage hose from the valve to keep any dripping off the connections in the future.  Again thanks to all.

Dear Skip,
I had a similar issue with my WH. It fired right up but stopped/locked out after water from the Pressure relief valve dripped into the orifice of the gas/air mixture and on the wiring.  A simple fabricated sheet metal shroud seemed to do the trick.  No problems since.  If it acts up, a new Dinosaur board is my next step.

I have a 2001 IB and just found out the parking brake is "shot".  They want $1600 to replace this...I am in the state of shock over that one!  The question is do I need to have a parking brake?
I am told the front and back brakes need replacing too. And of course I need to do those, so I am looking at a big bill.  My rig has about 45,000 miles, should I expect to replace brakes this often?  Just wondering.  I can so see my Dad (previous owner) riding the brakes down those hills...and leaving the parking brake on by mistake.

Thanks for any info and just venting my shock! Thanks.

There are no serviceable parts in that model year e-brake. In 2006 I replaced the unit in my 2000 MD. $1,100 but that was 2006.

The question is do I need to have a parking brake?

Some people call the unit a parking brake, some call it an emergency brake. If you're heading down a steep mountain grade and your main braking system fails for whatever reason, you'll be glad you have the parking/emergency brake. Dealers choice.

Not if the rig is driven properly. At 77,000 miles I had the brakes on my '08 serviced. The guy estimated I had 45% remaining on the pads.

There may be serviceable parts inside some of the drive train parking brake units. A couple of years ago, I know of a 2002 30' that had an inoperative parking brake due to leaving it on while driving. The parking brake unit was repaired, not replaced, for much less by a Southern California Ford Truck dealer service department. Unfortunately, in the consolidation of dealerships nationwide that has taken place over the past few years, that particular dealership has closed. But, it may be available from other Ford Truck dealerships, if you ask about it.
