Alternately, near the top of the rear cushion there's an access panel, held on with screws, to reach the back of the shower plumbing. Not very big, but it should afford a look inside spot if you have a video inspection scope to use. Depending on what you want to hang, it may be possible to inject some of that expanding foam to tie the wood panel back into the wall of the shower enclosure. There's probably some risk in doing this, you wouldn't want to put in too much foam as when it expands it may put some pressure on the walls.bumper Yonder
Re: Structure Question Reply #8 – March 22, 2012, 06:34:39 pm Yahoo Message Number: 129318Dave,On my 2005 MB there is a removable panel (approx 6-inch square) in the above the driver side couch and next to the outside wall. If you remove it you can look into the hollow area behind the "angled" part of the fiberglass shower wall. The area contains the water pipes for the shower and the grey water tank vent pipe. You might be able to run something into the wall that parallels the end of the couch to see if there are any "vertical" members. You can also gain similar access to the "front" wall (by the bathroom door) by removing the electrical outlet close to the floor on that wall. I was looking at these areas for some reason that I don't recall, but don't think that I found any "studs".Doug[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
