At the recent SE GTG in Hanna Park, I know we talked to several people about the Selkirk Loop (Idaho Panhandle, British Columbia, Eastern Washington State). If you're interested in information, this is a good site to check out ... feel free to order their "Travel Guide" ... it arrived quickly and they do not keep infor coming to you, unless you request it! When planning, I found it most helpful and informative!

We went from Coeur d'Alene as far north as Kaslo,  BC, then over to New Denver before heading south through eastern Washington. If you golf, do not miss the Coeur d'Alene golf course. They have one floating hole - par 3. You tee off to the hole, board a very nice little cruiser with a full bar for the ride to the floating hole, putt out, and return to the boat (did I mention, with a full bar) for the ride back to continue to the next hole. Loved it - no, not just the full bar, but a beautifully laid out course overlooking the lake. {:>)

Still have our Log from the trip in my files if anyone wants/needs it, just ask! It was a wonderful trip and as a magazine article called it "Water, Water Everywhere Loop." The views were stunning, roads friendly, state and provincial parks reasonable, people great, kayaking and biking wonderful, etc.

Enjoy!
