Lorenzetti Advanced Tankless 110v Showerhead Electric Shower Head February 29, 2012, 01:32:48 pm Yahoo Message Number: 128888A person I know who has a larger fifth wheel that bought one of the subject shower heads from Amazon for 70 bucks. His rig was not plugged in, so he did not demonstrate the unit. He claimed he saw one at a campground at a rig that was parked next to his and the owner claimed he could take a 10 or 15 minute shower and not run out of hot water. The shower head is made in Brazil and come in either 110 volt or 220 volt. The guy I know hard wired his, he has the luxury of space, but does come with a plug as I understand it. Might be something that would work in a LD and you had shore power.Larry in South Texas

Here's a photo of the one he used in Guatemala. http://vagabonders-supreme.net/blog/2012/02/02-29-2012A_Copy.jpgAs you'll notice from the labeling, it requires 50 amps (4,000W-5,000W!) at 120 VAC. I looked up the item on Amazon, and that model is still available (under the Coral Max label), but the current Lorenzetti electric showerheads are even bigger power hogs. Quoting from the product description, "5500 watts - 60AMP CIRCUIT BREAKER REQUIRED" (emphasis in original). Our Lazy Dazes have 30 amp power circuitry, and I've never even heard of a campground with hookups offering more than 50 amps, let alone 60. In short, this doesn't sound very practical.Andy Baird http://www.andybaird.com/travels/

I had forgotten the name until I read his blog today.Larry
