Another flashlight recommendation (off topic)

Remember that powerful zooming CREE pocket LED flashlight I recommended? Well, here's the same performance in an $8.99 headlamp:

Like the pocket version, it's very bright and generates a broad, even beam with no hotspots (unlike most headlamps I've tried). I find hotspots very distracting in a headlamp, because when I move my head even slightly, the central bright spot moves too, and my eyes naturally want to follow it. This unit has no such problem.
It even has a dimming control, in case you're working on something right in front of you and the light is too bright at close range. I've owned three or four different headlamps over the years, and this is by far the best.

Thanks for the recommendation.  Andy.
The headlamps are up to $9.99 now, but no shipping and no tax (in Texas) sounds like a good deal, so I ordered two of them.
We not infrequently find ourselves in places where reading our Kindles at night is difficult, so I hope these will solve the problem.
