Finally Dit It !

Sooner or later I knew I had to have a vacuum to take care of those infernal carpets in my LD. Up until now I'd waited till I got home to use my garage type Shop-Vac.
Over time I researched vacuums on the web and took particular note of those discussed (and cussed) here on this board.

But, my time has come and I recently purchased a 'Baby Shop-Vac'.

This thing rocks... it picks up dog hair like it was designed for the job and cleans those carpets just like my big one. Yes, it is loud but nowhere near the noise of the bigger model.
Not much bigger than a basketball, I know I'll find a place for it to live and travel with me down the road. No more grungy carpets!

Just a not about the dog stuff.  If you hook the hose up to the blower side when you hose down the pup (I am whispering here...or give him a bath)if you hook it to the blower end it will do a good job of drying the dog and blowing out the hair from the last shedding. (not just this shop vac but all shop vacs.  the longer the hose the better for the dog.)

I'm ROFLMAO! It's obvious you are not acquainted with Jiggs. He HATES water in any form (except to drink). I personally do not give him a bath, preferring to let the groomer catch the flack. She reports that he's a perfect gentleman but I don't believe it for a second. He won't even step out from under the patio roof to pee if it's raining.
