RB Above stove cabinet (and 30TB bedding)

"Another idea I tried to adopt is the tension curtain rod in the shower, which I wanted to use to hang towels to dry. Our LD is the 30 foot island bed, so one of its shower walls is at right angles to the outside wall and the other is slanted, so where the shower wall meets the outside wall is an acute angle. Kate, how do you make the curtain rod stay up?"
I have the rod mounted in the skylight, which has straight sides.  It has stayed up through 6 years of full timing.
As to the paper plate holder over the stove, we screwed ours shut years ago.  We use thin paper plates (with plate holders for rigidity) and simply push them up into the holder as need be.  Not very elegant but it works fine.
I'd also like to re-mention, for those of you with 30 foot twins, what a difference it has made that we have trimmed our sheets and blankets.  Regular twin bedding is just way too long and wide to allow an easily made up bed.  By trimming our sheets and blankets, the beds are easily made and there is still plenty of bedding for sleeping.
