Yahoo format question
Yahoo Message Number: 126183
I read messages on the Web and suddenly the page (where I read the messages) is formatted so the right border has migrated far out of view and some of the messages disappear far to the right, requiring me to use the slider to read them.  I have not been able to bring it back.  This is a Yahoo issue, and not any other formatting issue it would appear.  Anyone else having this problem?  I can't find anywhere to correct this.

It looks the same to me. Have you tried rebooting your computer? Sometimes that works to get things back to normal.

I've noticed the same weird formatting as you. I have to use the horizontal scroll bar to find the end of the sentence.
And, in addition, earlier this week Yahoo was placing advertizement over the top of message text so you couldn't read it at all.

And rebooting the computer does no good at all, it's Yahoo's fault!

Same here, Chris, and it's very annoying. It seems to have to do with rich text format messages, but it has only happened since I turned on the "allow pictures/attachments" feature.
Frankly, I'm thinking of turning that feature off again at the end of this month, because 1) it isn't being used much, 2) it seems complicated and inconsistent to use, and 3) when it is used, the embedded photos are then included in the inevitable re-re-reposts, wasting even more bandwidth that those annoying posts already do.

Ok I see the endless scroll from time to time. But what is up withe ads that are now appearing in the post text body?  I see those when opening each message individually while catching up on a thread. Top right corner. Now THAT is annoying.

Well today the ads are on the left side where the Home/Messages/Post/etc are making the reading window smaller and I noticed that some messages i still needed to right scroll to read the whole message....... go figure

As an example, look at Msg 126215! The font size (at least to me) is miniscule. What's up with that?

More than likely, Wayne, who posted that message, has good vision and a 27 inch iMac! :)

:-) Well, guess I've never seen any of his posts before this!
Naw, this sort of thing has been going on for a week or more. First the text is s t r e a c h e d clear across the page or click-able links are covered up with s, etc., etc. That's the first time I've ever seen such an incredibly small font size.

I see the tiny text too, and I suspect it's a side effect of the change I made to permit photos. Give me a couple of days to fix this, folks--I'm up to my ears right now. I just closed out my father's house this afternoon, signed the sale contract, but still have a few legal matters to take care of before I leave Pittsburgh. It's been a four-month job settling his affairs, but I'm *almost* done. :-)

Sorry you feel this way Andy..  I thought it had been working quite well.  There does not seem to be any abuse with posting too many pictures.  If not used much , then bandwidth problem is not as bad.  If you learn how to use the tool, it is not that difficult. A little education would solve some of these problems, but the real problem is getting the students to follow direction.  That seems to be the problem when people post here or should I say re-post.

Thanks for giving it a try.
