I read your post a couple of times, but didn't see a definite "bye". Back in the "Old Days" prior to owning a LD, we had a popup camper (www.sepuc.com). They had a very organized forum and I know I never contributed a penny and don't remember anyone asking for money. It is easy to find something that interested you and maybe didn't others. I might like cooking and decorating and someone else might like how to change a tire. I do think almost everyone gets tired of post that go on and on and on. I am not offering to start a new forum - would not have a clue how to go about it.
