The fitting on my 1985 where I attach a hose is leaking.  When I turn on the water pump, I can walk outside and see water pumping out. I see that there is some kind of valve inside the fitting that probably keeps water from flowing out, but allows water in.  Can I replace this part myself without too much trouble?

Hi Arlene,
I posted detailed instructions in message #102396 about how to repair the leaking city water connection valve. I think the repair is easier than replacing the city water connector.
The repair procedure was explained by Vince from the LD factory. While the explanation will seem a bit complicated, if you purchase a replacement valve and take it apart, you will better understand the repair.

Good luck, Steve K
