Question about Vizio and Haier TVs...
Yahoo Message Number: 118364
I know some have purchased the Vizio M220MV 22" LCD tv, and although it would fit for us, I am concerned about power consumption. The manual lists that as 41W average, which would be about 3.5A. This is more than other similar size Vizio models which unfortunately do not quite work for me. Any owners of this model have this data?
Another model of interest to me is the Haier HL22XSL2 22" model, which also uses an external power brick, but I don't know the voltage or power consumption - not given by Haier. Does anyone use this model and know this information? One nice feature is the ability to pause live programming for up to an hour using an external USB drive.

Thanks.

In real life, measured with a LinkLite, the TV comsumes between 2-3A, depending on what the TV is doing.
Mine is powered by 12v direct from the coach batteries (vs. 12v-->Inverter-->brick-->back to 12v).

Thanks, Rich - that makes a lot more sense.
