Bad Thermostat or?
Yahoo Message Number: 117898
Hello, Just coming off a two weeker in the North Cascades.  Mid 30's at night and battled furnace most of the time.  While plugged in I would move the thermostat level from the off position to the far right.  The blower has always immediately started-not this time.  We had wait times of 30 seconds, 2 minutes, 3 minutes, and times when blower would not come on. We just shut it off and waited. When we would try later, the blower would start up right away.  Once we shut it off, we did not know what would happen on our next try.
If this is a thermostat problem I'll just put in another-either digital or analog-and move on.  Sure would like this easy fix!

What do you think?

Shorting the thermostat wires together should start the furnace fan almost immediately. If so, thermostat is the issue.
