Analog to Digital in '01 RB

I have not been on this forum since my due diligence back in '00; so please excuse me if this subject has been addressed. We are facing this conversion and do not like the converter box scenario with wires running through overhead cabinet to plug in over dinette table. So, has anyone(everyone) just replaced the old analog TV with a digital flat screen? If so, could you share the methodology? Thanks much.

Straf14 (interesting name)

Many conversions have been done by members of this forum.
It's easy, take the old set out and install a new digital flat screen, no converter needed.
Vizio makes a 19" or 20" flat screen digital set that can operate on 12-volts and is often available at Costco.
Try searching since this topic has been widely discussed over the last few years.

Straf,  I replace my built in with Jensen 19" flat.  Same TV that LD is currently using.  Plugs in to lighter socket.  Will send pics of installation if interested.
