Most public and private campgrounds have "quiet hours"--typically between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. or thereabouts--when generator use is prohibited. However, to my knowledge there's no federal law mandating this, and if you're parked on BLM land with nobody else in sight, it's unlikely that you'll be told not to run your genset.
That said, there are few devices that need so much power as to require constant generator operation. For example, many members of the group use CPAP or BiPAP devices when sleeping, operating from the coach's batteries (either directly from 12V, or using a DC-to-AC inverter).
If you can be more specific about your power needs, we can probably provide more detailed answers.
