eye surgery update April 21, 2010, 11:18:27 pm Yahoo Message Number: 112047Went in at 2:40; out at 3:30; home by 5:30 and eating supper from the crock pot I started this am at 10am. Eye looking pretty blackened, more than last time I think. But things went well, and I am busy with the 20 min ice packs every hour while awake for 4 days. Will keep me plenty busy. Glad it is done and I can now recup and continue getting ready to leave for the summer.Was NPO from 6:15 this am, so was starving by end of surg time. Got cranberry juice and cookies to tide me over. Then got home and found cookies on the counter from Polly from across the street. She checked on the crock pot for me. So all seems to have gone well, and the Dr. called to check on me already, so it is back to icing, and 2 nights in the recliner to keep elevated. Will let you know if any change, but all "looks" good right now. :0Hoping to leave in about 3 weeks, assuming all goes well.[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
