I am guessing that it might not be a garage, but might be an alley, perhaps inches wider further back?  Ican't imagine backing it into a space that tight - unless he just gave it more gas...  :-) Ken F. in OR

We have Maxxair covers on all of the vents.
Tree "stuff" blows under the bottom of covers and lodges in the screens.
[Cottonwood are blooming in south Texas right now] I am thinking about putting foam between the edge of the covers and the roof, but am doubtful that they would stay put at 60mpg.
Any other ideas??

HEY Don -
Removing the covers occasionally to clean is great - BUT to get the vegetation out turn the fans on high to blow out and if your vacuum cleaner has the reverse blow then use it on the roof to blow around the opening of vent to roof - Works great - be sure to leave fans on while doing this -
The standard vent you can pick up a hinged set of mounts for the vent cover and change out so can easily open this vent to clean -
Not sure if MaxxAir has come out with the hinged mounts for the Fantastic Fan vent covers yet -

Easy fix, Don.  Use strips of foam tape, sticky on one side, that is used to put under truck cap edges.  Cut pieces to fit each side of the bottom of the vent cover flange.  Fasten them to the bottom of the flange.  Cut a small slot where the mounting bracket comes out.  Now stuff can't get under there.
It's worked well for us.  Details and pix at:

You'll have to scroll down the page a ways to find it.

Ted, thanks for posting that link. There's so much more information there, beside the vent fix, on other projects you've done in your RB.  Great tips, and useful photos.
