Door panel for new refrigerator April 04, 2010, 12:56:03 pm Yahoo Message Number: 111578Alex, you wrote because the framing (think of it as a picture frame) on the new door is narrower.> If the new refrigerator fits in the same space as the old one, isn't the door the same size? If the new door has a narrower space for the woodgrain insert (that matches my other cabinetry), why couldn't it be trimmed to fit? I removed my panel to drill a hole though the door into the fridge. This allowed me to put a large (type 'N') battery and the temperature sensor just below one of the door shelf can trays. The temperature display is mounted on the door panel, and also displays the temperature inside the RV. That new refrigerator with more efficient insulation.. does that use a vacuum? Drilling a hole there might present a problem. Ron and Bluebelle a '99 TKB[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
