Although mostly local yokels were in attendance, one rig traveled all the way from Kentucky just for this outstanding, fun event. Larry Wade (and Renee) are a class act, and it was a wonderful opportunity to put Yahoo names with faces and finally meeting folks face-to-face whose names are familiar only in typeface! I sure hope this Spring GTG becomes a tradition. Hmmmm, I guess once there have been four such events, it actually *has* become a tradition!Lorna Hanging out with Ladeze buddies one more day http://uppity-woman.blogspot.com
Lake Cachuma Reply #3 – March 29, 2010, 12:07:10 am Yahoo Message Number: 111393Just wanted to say THANK YOU to Larry Wade for setting up this GTG, and to all the folks we met and had a laugh with. My Mom and I had a great time, just what our hearts needed!! My Mom has not played the piano (or even THOUGHT of music) since Dad passed, and today, when we got home from the lake, I thought I heard music when I was unloading Blue... and there she was, playing away!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU. Oh... and if anyone found a key ring with four keys on a wrist stretchy thing.. purple and green key markers, it belongs to my daughter and I dropped it. Opps! Please contact me off forum. Thanks!Lisa and Blue
