Does anyone have any suggestions for good RV parks for one night near Monterey Aquarium? Preferably one with a shuttle to the aquarium.
Thanks, Robert 2000 TK Oak Harbor, WA

Robert, you might take a look at the fair grounds.  You might have to take a taxi or you can drive your LD.  There is a lot within walking distance to the aquarium at Fisherman's wharf for RV'S http://www.montereycountyfair.com/mcf_rv_parking.php

Robert, make that parking at Cannery Row instead of at the Wharf per my previous post

when i went to the aquarium this dec, i stayed at laguna seca raceway/rv park. its a great campground with lots of views, nice bathroom, lots of places to walk dogs, quite a few birds also. but - no racing at that time-i am sure that affects it. that said- i did have to drive to the aquarium and on a sunday--no easy parking and no shuttles from the rv parking lot. there are a few-big slots near the aquarium that you can fed ALOT of quarters to.

Veterans State Park, on top of the hill just a mile or two up from the main drag, is a little gem that hardly anyone knows about.  It's a beautiful little park with showers and a dump station.  RV size might be a limitation,(ours is 23 TK) but it's so secluded I doubt they'd say anything.
The shuttle comes up there too (you might have to call them) or, if you're up for it, it's not a bad walk.  We've been there several times and loved it every time!  Have fun...

--- Veterans' Park is a Monterey County Park:

As to the length limit, the website states that any rig over 21' will be "referred elsewhere"; guess nobody had the tape measure out when you were there! ;-)
